An Amazing Deal and an Update!

Well hello there! How are you enjoying this Christmas?

I hope you're happy anyway! So my blog posts haven't been too frequent lately as I'm a bit stumped for ideas! If you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comments below! But moving on, I thought I would tell you about I deal that I think is pretty awesome. Now I'm sure that a lot of you are MUA fans; I personally haven't tried out many of their products, but after hearing such outstanding reviews, and with this deal, I'm sure I'll have to give it ago! Very simply, if you spend £8 on MUA cosmetics, then you receive this MUA Immaculate Collection Palette for free! To sweeten the deal, this palette is worth £8 and consists of 24 colours.

24 Shade Immaculate Collection Palette

This £8 palette is the most expensive thing MUA sell, so I am sure that it will be no problem to spend £|8. I personally think I will try out the very popular 'Heaven and Earth' Palette and some of their 'Out There Plumping Lipglosses'. If you have tried out either of these products, please let me know what you think!

The second point on the agenda is that there is a blog that I think you'd love! It's called 'Gracious' and it is abssolutely fantastic for makeup reviews! They are really well written, the photos are professionally done and a range of products are covered from high to low costing items. In addition to this, they are reviews you always know that you can trust! It definitely reminds me of the extremely popular blog 'FleurDeForce'! So check out 'Gracious' here!

Et finalement, I now have Tumblr! If you'd like, I'd love for you to check it out. It is very different to the things I post on here, so be warned! Check out my Tumblr here!

I hope to do another blog post before Christmas!

Lots of Love,

Christmas Gift Sets!

I managed to grab some free time, so I thought I would give you some ideas about some really good beauty gifts for that special lady in your life...or for yourself (I won't judge)!

So from Models Own, I picked out a couple of gift sets that I thought looked like a darn good deal. I think the pictures are pretty self explanatory!

So for £15 this set contains:

-6 way buffer
-3 in 1 base/top/gloss coat
-Black nail art pen (I use it and it makes nail art 10 x easier)
-Silver Smash-Up
-Any 1x polish in your choice of colour

For £20 you get six full sized nail polishes that retail at £5 each. So essentially you are saving quite a bit of money, which of course in an added bonus.

There are 8 different collections to choose from:

-'Glitter Collection' - Scarlet Sparkle, Purple Haze, Juicy Jules, Magenta Divine, Emerald City, Mixed Up

- 'Beetlejuice Collection'- Pinky Brown, Golden Green, Aqua Violet, Purple Blue, Emerald Black, 3 in 1 Base Coat, Top Coat and Gloss

-'Smash Up Collection' Smash-Up Gold, Smash-Up Purple, Smash-Up Pink, Smash-Up Orange, Smash-Up Black, Smash-Up Silver

-'Neon Brights Collection'Fluro Orange, Tangerine Queen, Purple Passion, Aciiied, Pink Punch, Lime Green

-'Metallics Collection' Bronze Rage, Gun Grey, Gold Rush, Proper Copper, Sterling Silver, Gold Digger

-'Autumn/Winter Collection' - Grace Green, Purple Ash, Becca's Brown, Purple Grey, Mushroom, Nude Beige

-'Champagne Collection' - Sterling Silver, Champagne, Mystic Mauve, Blue Moon, Lili's Pink, Green Flash

-'Pastel Collection' Feeling Blue, Lemon Meringue, Pastel Pink, Lilac Dream, Top Turquoise, Fuzzy Peach

From  Boots:

This set is fantastic value for money. It retails at £34 and that is the cost of one 30ml bottle of Tresor Midnight Rose, not to mention you get so many extras (the three mascaras just about add up to a full size one!)

It contains:
-Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose Eau de Toilette 30ml
-Lancome Juicy Tubes x 3 miniatures
-Lancome Tresor Mascara x 3 Hypnose Miniatures

9 Polishes (miniature size I presume). £10. Can't go wrong.

£6. 10 Mini Lip Glosses. Sounds good to moi!

I know I haven't really featured much, but I must get cracking on some homework *sad face*

Collective Haul: Boots, Topshop, H&M, Primark

I have now realised that I can't stay away from the blogging world for such a long amount of time, that I just had to fit in a sneaky blog post. So I decided to provide you with a haul and a sort of review on any products I've tried out. So without further ado, let's get straight into things!

First of all, Topshop! If there is one sale that I love, it's Topshop jewellery sales where you can find gorgeous pieces for Primark prices (could there be a better combination?)

Rose Headband - £3.50

Gem Encrusted Panther (or tiger, puma, leopard - not too sure)

Now onto H&M:

Gold Rabbit Ring - £3.99

Beatles T-Shirt - £9.99

And of course what would a haul be without an injection of Primark?

Beaded Top - £9.99

Just One Thing from the Body Shop:

Rose Lip Roll On - Under £5 (can't remember exactly)
I found this lip balm to be very non-sticky or thick, but it did have a very oily consistency. Some may prefer this if they do not have an issue with dry lips, however for me this just was not moisturising enough to cater for for my needs. I did though really like the sweet rose scent (there are other flavours in the collection as well) and it did have a very pleasant cool feeling on the lips as it applies with a metal roller-ball, a similar concept to roll on deodorant.

Soap & Glory Hand Food Travel Size (not quite sure of price, but I pretty sure it was under £3)

So I've heard quite a lot of 'hype' surrounding this hand cream, so when it was time for new one, this was my first choice and I can I say it is really amazing! First of all, the scent. It reminds me exactly of my favourite perfume Miss Dior Cherie. So if you think about it, it's kind of like a £45 fragrance in a hand cream costing £3- pretty good? However, it most importantly leaves your hands silky smooth and moisturised. If it is an important factor, then it may be good to know that it also soaks into the skin reasonably quick and is non-greasy. Though when my hands are quite dry, I do tend to prefer something that is thick and creamy for the uber-luxurious feeling. But that's just my personal opinion!

Vaseline Cocoa butter (£2-£3 I think)

First off, can I say that this smells absolutely scrumptious! If you remember 'LipSmackers', you may or may not remember that one of their flavours was a delicious, vanillary one. Well, this is literally it, but in a tin of Vaseline! It definitely does that job leaving my lips feel smooth a moisturised, even more so than the rose Vaseline one, probably because of the cocoa butter!

Original Source Shower Gel 'Vanilla Milk and Raspberry' Under £3!

This smells absolutely DIVINE! It's got a really delicious creamy, vanilla, berry scent. It kind of smells like yogurt, but so much better! In addition to this, it lathers nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft. Plus, it is vegan friendly, the packaging can be recycled and it has a natural fragrance! However, the only downside is that such a lovely scent cannot last for longer!

Batiste Dry Shampoo 'Original' around £2

I had tried the blush scent and this as well works well in making your hair looking fresh and clean. This dry shampoo also has a really pleasant, fresh, zesty smell. The only downside to dry shampoo is that it can make your hair feel a tiny bit sticky. As long as you don't touch your hair, it's a great product!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer in Light 2 £4.50

I'm sure you've heard a lot of buzz about this mascara, and believe me, it's all true. It certainly does provide a lasting coverage that will nicely conceal any blemishes! But personally, I don't think it works as effectively on under-eye circles. But maybe that's just me?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed!

But, just before I go, I'm looking for a good drugstore mascara, any recommendations?

Lots of Love,

It's no secret that I'm a sugar addict, just a minute ago I was munching on some roll on icing (not a good idea, extremely bad for your health) and I couldn't help but find myself craving Katy Perry's clothes? Just take a look at these candy-tastic stage outfits and you'll find yourself drooling over these costumes! They're definitely delectable designs! Too many puns?

Nails of the Week: Barry M's Blue Moon

I think it's safe to say that Barry M's Blue Moon is my favourite nail polish! It is the most beautiful pale blue, with a very subtle (you can't really notice at all) purple/blue shimmer! I'd say it nicely compliments my skin tone and is a very wearable colour that will go with most outfits. However, the only downside to this product is that it's not very quick trying, neither is it very opaque, so will take you around three applications. But aside from that, I really do love it!

Lots of Love,

Isabella x
