Collective Haul: Boots, Topshop, H&M, Primark

I have now realised that I can't stay away from the blogging world for such a long amount of time, that I just had to fit in a sneaky blog post. So I decided to provide you with a haul and a sort of review on any products I've tried out. So without further ado, let's get straight into things!

First of all, Topshop! If there is one sale that I love, it's Topshop jewellery sales where you can find gorgeous pieces for Primark prices (could there be a better combination?)

Rose Headband - £3.50

Gem Encrusted Panther (or tiger, puma, leopard - not too sure)

Now onto H&M:

Gold Rabbit Ring - £3.99

Beatles T-Shirt - £9.99

And of course what would a haul be without an injection of Primark?

Beaded Top - £9.99

Just One Thing from the Body Shop:

Rose Lip Roll On - Under £5 (can't remember exactly)
I found this lip balm to be very non-sticky or thick, but it did have a very oily consistency. Some may prefer this if they do not have an issue with dry lips, however for me this just was not moisturising enough to cater for for my needs. I did though really like the sweet rose scent (there are other flavours in the collection as well) and it did have a very pleasant cool feeling on the lips as it applies with a metal roller-ball, a similar concept to roll on deodorant.

Boots:
Soap & Glory Hand Food Travel Size (not quite sure of price, but I pretty sure it was under £3)

So I've heard quite a lot of 'hype' surrounding this hand cream, so when it was time for new one, this was my first choice and I can I say it is really amazing! First of all, the scent. It reminds me exactly of my favourite perfume Miss Dior Cherie. So if you think about it, it's kind of like a £45 fragrance in a hand cream costing £3- pretty good? However, it most importantly leaves your hands silky smooth and moisturised. If it is an important factor, then it may be good to know that it also soaks into the skin reasonably quick and is non-greasy. Though when my hands are quite dry, I do tend to prefer something that is thick and creamy for the uber-luxurious feeling. But that's just my personal opinion!

Vaseline Cocoa butter (£2-£3 I think)

First off, can I say that this smells absolutely scrumptious! If you remember 'LipSmackers', you may or may not remember that one of their flavours was a delicious, vanillary one. Well, this is literally it, but in a tin of Vaseline! It definitely does that job leaving my lips feel smooth a moisturised, even more so than the rose Vaseline one, probably because of the cocoa butter!

Original Source Shower Gel 'Vanilla Milk and Raspberry' Under £3!

This smells absolutely DIVINE! It's got a really delicious creamy, vanilla, berry scent. It kind of smells like yogurt, but so much better! In addition to this, it lathers nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft. Plus, it is vegan friendly, the packaging can be recycled and it has a natural fragrance! However, the only downside is that such a lovely scent cannot last for longer!

Batiste Dry Shampoo 'Original' around £2

I had tried the blush scent and this as well works well in making your hair looking fresh and clean. This dry shampoo also has a really pleasant, fresh, zesty smell. The only downside to dry shampoo is that it can make your hair feel a tiny bit sticky. As long as you don't touch your hair, it's a great product!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer in Light 2 £4.50

I'm sure you've heard a lot of buzz about this mascara, and believe me, it's all true. It certainly does provide a lasting coverage that will nicely conceal any blemishes! But personally, I don't think it works as effectively on under-eye circles. But maybe that's just me?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed!

But, just before I go, I'm looking for a good drugstore mascara, any recommendations?

Lots of Love,

Isabella x

  1. Great post! The beaded top and headband are very pretty. I have to *tut* at you for the Vaseline as petroleum jelly offers no benefit to your skin, its a by-product of the oil industry yuck! As for the concealer I wanted to buy it but when I swatched on my hand it made me itchy :(
